Division One
A moment of pure brilliance from Ayo Angelo unlocked the game. In truth it had been coming as the boy wonder bossed the midfield with help from the strength of Sol Train and Chris Goodnews Goals and the usual physical guile from Captain on the day Don Enchant and a sweet finish from Jack sealed victory.
Master Mecca and Michael Mickey Gaszcz ensured our wings were solid and a top notch and much more composed performance from Luke Faith in central defence giving Ayo a run for the man of the match award. The boss man Joseph Howe had a storming second half leading by example. Brown Olayinka Wilson kept their full backs busy all game and it was nice to see that Brown and Jack made the effort to progress last week’s issues with some lovely balls from Brown to Jack and Mo.
Moussa was brilliant in goal with an important early save followed by a number of excellent saves.
Another highlight was to see Dre Peii Olaholuwah back in a New Life shirt as he came on to sure up the midfield. Harry hill-Farnham also came on to energise our defence for the last quarter.
The score line was flattering to them as we hit the woodwork a few times but A good victory following the disappointment of last week sees New Life in second place, no fights this week,, the vibe was nice and the confidence is high.
